Why is Questran Light prescribed?

- constipation
- hemorrhoids
- hypothyroidism
- diabetes
- stomach problems
- unusual bleeding/bruising
- allergies to this medication or other substances
- gall bladder conditions
- kidney problems
- liver problems
Questran Light warning
Since Questran Light may interfere with certain medicines, it is important to tell your doctor about all OTC medicines, prescription medicines, vitamins and supplements that you are currently taking, especially the following:
Cordarone, antibiotics, blood thinners such as Warfarin, Digitoxin, Digoxin, diuretics, iron, Imodium, Cellcept, oral diabetes medicines, Phenobarbital, Phenylbutazone, Propranolol, thyroid medicines and vitamins and supplements.
You should not take Questran Light if you are pregnant or plan on becoming pregnant. If you do get pregnant while taking this cholesterol lowering medicine, tell your doctor immediately. Nursing mothers should not take Questran Light.
In case of emergency Questran Light overdose
In case of Questran Light overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.
