Cholestyramine warning

Cordarone, antibiotics, blood thinners such as Warfarin, Digitoxin, Digoxin, diuretics, iron, Imodium, Cellcept, oral diabetes medicines, Phenobarbital, Phenylbutazone, Propranolol, thyroid medicines and vitamins and supplements.
You should not take Cholestyramine if you are pregnant or plan on becoming pregnant. If you do get pregnant while taking this cholesterol lowering medicine, tell your doctor immediately. Nursing mothers should not take Cholestyramine.

In case of Cholestyramine overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.
